What ive noticed when I put my hardwire in for the radar detector is there are clips holding it in but I never found exactly how to fully remove it. I couldnt ee if there were screws in there as well or not.

How do you keep it so clean? I got the ebony cloth interior in my 07 and its filthy, I clean and days later its filthy. They are supposed to have a cabin filter stock correct? and does running the hvac system on recirc ustilize the cabin filter?

Ok, I'll have to check it out. Or maybe someone else will know. I don't need to be breaking things LOL!

It gets dirty quickly but I try to clean it weekly and I shampoo the seats to keep them looking new. I'm not sure on the cabin filter.

My 08 base came with a cabin air filter. Not sure sure if it uses the cabin filter on recirc though...

you should take off the little trim panel that you can only get to when you open the door.(in the far left of the pic) there you will find a screw holding up the knee bolster which is the large plastic piece on the lower part of the dash. there will be 2 more screws holding it up that you will have to lay on the floor of your car to get to. one is right by the OBDII connector thing. the other is somewhere near the Ebrake. after that you just pull down on the knee bolster, it may be clipped in im not sure. after you have the bolster outta the way all you have to do is pull out the instrument cluster cover thing. it is just clipped on.

the cabin filter is in the cowl right below the window on the passenger side

recirc bypasses this and pulls air from the glove box area.. It does not use the filter

You need to remove the lower trim under the steering wheel. There are 3 screws and two clips holding the piece. To access it, you need to remove the left side cover (similar to the fuse cover on the passenger side), then go under the dash, locate the other two.

Pay attention to the piece around the OBDII connector..... After that, the IP trim is two screws and 3 clips again. Here's what it looks like when it comes off (gives you an idea where the piece sits/screws in).
