Alright guys, before I got my body work done i had some custom SD hood grills installed. Only problem was they weren't really "installed", they kinda just sat in the hole, they were a little bigger than the opening, so a little compression would get them in there, and they would stay put for the most part.

This method would be alright with me, but on a couple conditions they came out, and caused a bit of damage to the hood paint.

So how should I install them this time around guys? Any ideas on how to secure them?? Here are some pics:

Automotive Emblem Adhesive. It'll hold well, holds up to heat well, and if you really want to, you can remove it.

most emblems i know use the tape
but do it on the upper side of the inlet
those look like my old ones, before they were powder coated

you could do the black zip ties by drilling a small hole on either side of teh openings and you could save teh paint by using tape to protect it.
