I found condensation in my driver's headlight tonight. A LOT of it... whole damn thing fogged up on the inside. Now I'm looking at projectors as a cheap alternative to new OEM headlights. I did some chopping (not very good but you get the general idea) of black projectors and I'm not sure... I would have done chrome ones but all the chrome sets I have seen look bug-eyed for some reason.

Thoughts?

i think if the lower fascias were dark colored to go black, but since theyre color matched, go chrome.

I agree with Kyle too, I would go with chrome with your car. Black would look good too though if you decide to go with it.

Here is an even less pretty chrome version. I think when they took pictures of these lights they were at different angles lol.

The chrome ones look better w/ white & silver cars, IMO, but thos white ones would really set it off.

Depends on what shade of white they are. My car is Ivory, which is an off white.

I like the white ones too, but there is the good chance that they'll make the car look dirty since its painted an off-white.

I like the black ones. The upper grilles are black, and since they are on the same plane as the headlights, it looks even...and, in my opinion, right.

Keep in mind, that some people are getting condensation with projectors, too.

I have heard that and fully intend on blowing out the air inside the new lights before installing them. I think that was the main problem with them, the air from their country of origin was stuck inside, and condensed when it got the cooler air over here.
