Tools needed
Utility Knife
tape to protect paint on car while cutting(very Important)
Super glue.

time 3-4 hours depends on the temp :D

This will work best with 97-03 emblems because u can easily take them apart.
First CAREFULLY remove the arrow head from the bumper. separate the two parts of the emblem black part and a red part with silver backing.
use the utility knife to scrape the silver off the back so it is somewhat transparent. cut thru the black part leaving less then a 1/4 of an inch on the sides.
Image
Then glue both parts back together so it looks like this.
Image
CAREFULLY cut a hole in the bumper in the shape of the arrow head leaving about a 1/4 of an inch so u have something to glue the emblem on to.
Image
Take an WATERPROOF led strip and super glue the ends together like this
Image
Then put the led inside the bumper about 4-5 inches away from the hole so it lights up the whole hole. then glue your badge back on and your done.
Image

Any questions feel free to ask and i will post more pictures at night its actually really bright.

I got the led strips off ebay(pm me ill send the link)

I saw this today while it was still light out and it is actually pretty bright even in the daylight. I can't wait to see it at night

I actually have it wired to the radio wire so it goes off when I shut the car off and I have a switch to for it. I plan on making another badge and spend alot if time cutting it better. I kinda rushed that part this time.

It's almost awkward looking at night when you aren't up close, because you can't tell what it is

^^ I was thinking the same thing. It should give it a really nice glow and keep the true color of the badge even in the darkest lighting.

I'm probably gonna do a red led panel or white and tint the badge red.
