So since i got bored this weekend i tinted my reverse bar and foglights.(headlights after HID's for safety reasons) And as you guessed the light output isnt the same. Im on DDM tuning now. For low beams ill get 35w 8000k. But do i need the dual in/dual out harness, and the error eliminator, or the adapter cables? And idk what to do for low beams as i havent gotten that far yet.

Harness is recommended, but it doesn't have to be dual in dual out. The error eliminator and adapter cables are not needed. If you are going to tint your headlights, and it sounds like you are, I wouldn't go higher than 5k for HID's. But if you aren't going to tint them get what you desire.

I was thinking 8k's cuz the tint will make them appear dimmer, so im thinking it will equal out.

I have 10k and when I had my headlights tinted with 3 coats and 1 of clear the light output was just enough. It all depends of the amount of tint you use
