Yes they are pretty bright. Not as noticeable in the day time but at night they are tits!

I have been debating to wait to do my retro to put the leds on or not, but I have also been trying to decide if I should put them in the housings or just put them under.

If you put them inside and the LED's go out you'll have to open the headlights to replace them. With the strip under the headlights it's just a matter of pealing the strip off and sticking a new one in place, then reconnecting the wires.

I know but that is part of the fun of standind out and not being the norm sometimes is it not.
If I decided to go in I have some crappy lights to mock and test with and would put them in with retro's but halo's and retro's in the housing together may be too close and not look right.

Sometimes having something unique requires more work. If you're ok with that go for it, if not take the easy way.

Like I said I am on the fence about where and I have some extra parts that I can play with positioning to see what I like better. I don't mind a little extra depending on what it is. I know the strobes are gonna be a pita to get installed clean and correct and even though they wont be used much it will be less common and worth it over all I think.
