I am going to be getting a gauge bezel for the dash but I am not sure which one to choose. Right now I am leaning towards the carbon fiber one due to the subtlety of the bezel. Curious what all of you think.

Thanks.

I'v got the Aluminum and I like it. I am thinking of painting it red to go with the theme of my car.

hmmmm if it can be paint then I will all over for this brushed aluminum. My dashboard will be galaxy silver. I'm thinking have this dash board like this 1st picture to paint galaxy silver. Since you own this one. How did you install them?

I'm thinking about white gauge but I hate to remove needle out so I won't mess it. This one sound pretty easy and won't need to remove needle.

All you need to do is take the trim off from around the cluster, take a Torq bit and remove the instrument cluster from the dash, take the clear plastic off from thr front of the cluster and double side tape the bezel to the cluster and then re-install. It wasn't that hard after I got in there.

Yeah, I did that in junk yard for practice  But it was failed because I broke needle. Boy, I'm glad that I didn't mad at all. It is not mine lol

Aww double side tape? I was hoping it is bolt in where glass is. :(

Do you have any pics of it? Maybe a little further away to see how it looks. That would be great.

What about this one? They have chrome, brushed aluminum, and brusted stainlessy. It look same but little different. You know where P, R, N, D, 3, 2, 1? This ebay link cover that instead 1st post picture. I think this one is nice. Noticed 1st picture is little bit block "D". Your call

Wanna fire? Then it is your.

I think I am going to be doing the gauges with or without a bezel. I am going to try these out in metallic silver with black lettering.

meh, not too big on the CF, myself. It only belongs on a car, not IN a car, IMHO. But I had the brushed aluminum bezel in my last GP and I really liked it, but it created a blinding glare when the sun hit the inside of the car just right. I had the silver dashboard, too. It was a nice combo, but all that silver was a lil too much for me after a few months. But it's your car, and best of luck with whatever you decide!

I went with the gauges for now. Went with the metallic silver with black lettering. I'll give it a whirl and see how they look. I'll post pics when I get them installed.

According to the description it should light up like the factory gauges. I will post pics before and after installation.

carbon fiber FTW..i might buy one after x-mas when i have some spare cash.

i'm not feelin the metal bezels because nothing else in the car is that shiny. i have CF gauges in my pod and it is more subtle than the metal bezels

Depending on how the gauge overlays look by themselves, I may go with the brushed aluminum bezel and paint it black.

Well I went ahead and gave the ebay overlays a shot. They are vinyl overlays that fit over the stock gauges. They look pretty good. They came with install instructions and I followed them. The grand prix lettering and the arrowhead are from house of grafx. They were easy to install. It just took some time to align them. During the day it covers the parking brake light but it shines through at night. I took some pics with my iphone. I may still get the bezel to complete the look. The last pic shows the service light but I did not have the car completely on. These overlays are a cheap alternative to change up the look of the factory gauges.

Those are pretty damn cool, I like them!!! Looks like they install nice too, or your just the perfectionist like many of us. Nice work!

Found a picture of my dash stick on overlay:

Wish they were still available, glad I was able to find me an extra one to hang onto.
