Sounds great guys. Now I just need to take tomorrow and fix a few things that SHOULDN'T need fixed....

Last Friday my Fobs stopped working, now tonight I engage my parking brake (which I always thought was dumb but now I started doing it because I figured it might help preserve the transaxle) and hear a popping noise and the brake won't fully disengage....
Atleast in seven minutes I'll be picking up parts (Black Friday) for my car, hopefully that'll cheer me up.

Alright, I know I'm a week late, but with Holidays and car repairs and no more excuses lol I finally finished two more renderings for hood ideas. Let me know what you all think of the designs.

Really like the first one. The second one, not so much.

I agree, my personal least favorite is the Ram Air design, I think it suits a Trans Am well but is just too dramatic for a GP. But I figured I might as well sketch it out to atleast get a better idea than just imagination.

Here's a quick chop of the G8 hood on the GP, not perfect, but it's hard to find G8's and GP's at the EXACT angle lol.

Damn Kendra, now that's what I'm talking about. Those scoops fit the hood perfect. And the original hood shape and height it retained. I think it's feasible because there is nothing to worry about hitting that far up in the engine bay with our cars. Our supercharger isn't in the way for atleast another foot. Those scoops could direct air straight down and to the side into an intake for a ram air setup too if there's enough warrant for the extra work.

Ok?

FLIP is the only one I know that has it.

Now, back on track. The G8 is structured very similar in the hood as the GP, at least in the sense of photoshopping. It was pretty neat actually.

You really only find stock images of the SLP, and since they aren't available... Need I say more?

Image - Here's a stock image of the SLP

I really like Kendra's photoshop of the G8 hood better. The SLP hood has always looked a little shortcoming to me whereas the G8 hood looks more refined and as far as the photoshop, the scoops fill the hood better. Real world fabrication doesn't look like it would be all that hard to splice in a G8 section.

I was thinking about using the scoops from a Grand Am too if I went that route, because the Trans Am scoops are just too big lol. But you should definitely post some progress pics if you follow through with your endeavor!
