so im drawing up a sketch for a custom badge for my gp. so far its coming out nice.
im hoping thirdshiftstudios will make it for me so it can become something legit
and not just be an idea on paper.

ill post the sketch when im done tinkering with it. since i need a color idea. :D

alright, here it is. the background of it all will be silver, like any other emblems.
GTP will be black
Series will be black
Supercharged will be red
3 i was thinking outlined in black and filled in with red.

let me know what you think. criticism is welcome. :D

OP:

I think you meant thirdshiftstudios, not thirdshitstudios!! LOL

Oh and your image is not working at the moment.

When I had my WS6 badge custom made by them, it took about 4 weeks and cost 90.00 or so shipped.

Just letting you know.

Yeah its pretty cool. Kudos to you for dreaming it up. Email Jaison with your concept and he will design it in cad for you.

More than likely he will send you a proof, feel free to share his rendering if/when he sends one.

There can never be enough cool GP/GTP badges in the world. ;)

I feel that the series 3 without the 3800 in it make no sence JMHO

There is this one on eBay

But some custom ones could be cool the cheaper method is the ruberized "reflecdome" ones.
Like this badge I had made for us a while back and a few people on here have them.

Matt at Reflectiveconcepts.com quoted me 30 dollars a pair and they look great. I suggest working with him.

i get what your saying. i just didnt know how to do it with out it being to much.
what if instead of on the bottom, it said: L67 Supercharged

-- Fri Sep 02, 2011 9:52 pm --

wish i was around for that. thats a nice badge, almost looks like a collectors piece. if i had one, i probably wouldnt put it on my car. unless i had a spare one.

Guys don't be referencing l67 on an 04 and up gtp (aka series 3) bc our engines are not l67s they are l32s.

Just sayin.

Proof is a proposed rendering of your concept that the artist will send to you for approval. Kina like a prototype. I will post my proof of my ws6 badge here tommorow but it's already kicking around here someplace...

in any case, how does L32 Supercharged sound for the bottom. that way the series 3 makes sense to other people and not just gtp owners.
i can see the L32 Supercharged on the badge. i think thats what i'll go with. im going to email jaison my sketch and tell him the changes. i want the lettering of the GTP and series to be black, L32 Supercharged to be red. for the big 3 should that be solid red w/ black outline or solid black w/ red outline?

Ive always wanted to put a badge on my grill, but they are all too bulky, I think it would look weird cause the 04's and up dont have the grill sunk into the bumper like the 03's, so I would suggest the doors
