I need a replacement emblem for my car for when the new bumper goes on. Searching shows 99% results are geared towards the 97-03 body style.

Anyone have a link to options? I'd rather a complete drop-in, instead of just a vinyl overlay. I'd like a brushed edge with black insert, or anything low-profile/non-reflective.

Please post your pics and details about where you purchased it.

THANKS GUYS!

As far as I know there is no such thing for 04+. All we have are overlays.

You use a stock OEM one, or a replacement option from one of the vendors?

I have seen those, but I do not know if they fit in our cars. Also, I don't find it that amazing to shell out $100~ by the time I get it shipped up here.

Does anyone know if the 2004 emblem size is the exact same as the 97-03?

i have been looking for the same thing.

first i will say that a brand new one from the dealership is about $40.

the arrowheads from the grand am is the same as our cars.

new emblems from the G6 or G8 will not be flush like the ones for our cars.

and as for the 97-03 i am not sure. i know the red part has a different look to it.

but i say the best bet for looks is to just go get one from the dealership.

I saw a GP on cardomain that used a G6 emblem that turned out rather nice. He said that the G6 emblem isn't a direct replacement but he sanded down the sides until it fit.

Just bought some black overlays for my Pontiac emblems. Gonna put em Gandalf tomorrow and take some pics. Also de-badged successfully. Looks so much better.

I had purchased an overlay years ago, it never really stayed on/fit perfectly. Probably why I have been avoiding doing it again, maybe it was just a installation on my behalf.

Thank you  I think it really turned out nicely different but at the same time not super different so people question if it was stock or not.
