How much did you guys pay for window tint? theres is only one place of that i know around me and they want like 250-275 to tint my windows. this just seemed high to me so i was jus curious to what all of you guys paid

Here it's anywhere between $140-$180 for all but the windshield.

I need to have mine done, I was thinking of going to the place that orig did my GP but they're a lil expensive, and the place that retinted the front two after inspection scratched the shit out of the outside glass...

A friend of mine recommended this guy he uses, that has been doing tint for 10 years. This guy is coming to my house tonight at 5pm and he will do it in about an hour and is only charging me $150 flat. When I called around to recommended tint places around Houston, the best deal I could find was $175 + tax, but they don'y come to me and knock it out. I have seen his work on other cars, so I should be good to go. Well see after tonight. I'll probably have an excuse to post pics haha.

I had a coupon so I got my done for about 170.. see if you can find competitor coupons, and ask around to see if places will accept them!

Ok so it looks like my 165 is a rly good deal. I know he does good work too. Now the question is do I wanna go 35front/ 20 back or 35 all around. The cops are dicks about it hear so the darkest on the front I wanna go is 35

Keep the tint all the same.. if you put darker in the back, lighter in the front you're REALLY going to notice the difference.

In Illinois they are trying to pass a law to allow 35% tint on the driver & passenger side windows. The bill passed both house votes and was sent to the governor on June 26. So hopefully in a month or two it will be approved and then I'll be getting my windows tinted at the end of the summer.
