Hey guys, figured I'd post over here too. I've done these on my G8 as well as my buddies Ram, which turned out really cool due to the wavy shape of the headlights bottom side. I'm redoing mine this spring with another set I purchased, going to try and fit them in all the way to the rear of the headlights. The gap I'm working with seems to be really tight with the GXP nose I have on mine. I figure I'll use the ones on there now for something else, maybe trunk and underhood lighting Anyways here are some pics:

The guys in the Impala club are putting them on their cars, so I'm sure they will look got on the Grand Prix. As long as there's a slight gap under the headlights they will fit the GP.

I doing a major revamp on my headlights now over this next month.

LED strip is going on the outside this time cause I had water get in on the lights 3 times and sort them out...so this time its going on the outside cause its easier to replace them when they are on the outside

What fuse are you 04+ guys tapping into for these. I just successfully messed up the connection between my ignition fuse and the connectors in the fuse box. It was a pain to fix. lol.

I tapped into the ignition fuse. No problems to date, had them installed for quite a while now.

I broke down and bought a set of these LED strips from AutoZone and went about doing a test fitting. I found the 10 amp fuse for the FOGS and stuck the red wire into the hole and replaced the fuse. Then I touched the ground to the engine and nothing. So I touched the ground to the battery ground and VOILA they worked. Even though the key was off. Strike one.

Then I started the car and touched the wire to the engine and it flickered and if I rubbed the wire it lit steady. Fouled that one off.

I am too much of a dunce to figure this one out. Please direct me to a play-by-play instructions so that I can hook these up and have them come on with the DRL's and stay on when the DRLs switch to low beams. Thnaks!

BTW the set I bought were only 14" long each and they do not reach all the way along bottom of the 04+ GP's. So beware. They were also identical as in they were neither left nor right handed. They were the sideways type. Just both the same.

if you want them on all the time, then find a fuse to tap into that is only powered when the car is on...
