Today I installed some LED strips between the stock license plate lights and wired them to the license lights. I'm happy with the way they turned out, no more dark area in the middle of the plate.

Then I would have had to center the strip and run the wires too far to go through the existing hole in the middle of the trunk lip, and I didn't want the wires hanging down so they could be seen.

not bad Mr. Rome, I believe you used different LEDs than the front? those look like they may be the straight up LEDs vs right angle...

That's right Nick, I wanted them to shine down at the plate. They were $15 for two 8" LED strips at Autozone.

Looks good, Did you use LED bulbs in the factory spot?

Yes I did, you can see the LED's in the factory spot in the first pic. But the lights are too far apart and it creates a dark area in the middle so that's why I put the LED strips between them.
