DDM all day
I love their digital slim kit and it's a steal at the price.

Beware you get what you pay for with ballasts. Just make sure they are digital ballasts, theretrofitsource sells these and are very good.

^^^ digital is a must, as they won't burn out due to the cheap electronics on the inside

for the most part ALL HID's will be just as bright as anyother brand.. It depends on 35w or 55w and your color choice. Like they mentioned, digital is a must, and dont go to cheaply, alot of the cheaper imitation slim ballasts are sealed really poorly, and the so called waterproof material is just hot glue filling the ballast, which melts out... My first set was a cheap ebay $25 kit. Replaced in a month due to water damage. My new kit was from a private dealer near me and i got them for $65. 55w 8k digital slim ballasts. Have had for over a year now.

There have been a lot of issues with DDM. Google DDM bait and switch and see what others have reported. VVME seems like the better choice.

DDM bait and switch? ORLY? Out of the 7+ set I have purchased or have installed for others, they have all be great and completely fine. Ironically both of my sets from VVME, which I bought before I knew about DDM, have a failed ballast or one starting to fail, so 50% failure rate for VVME with me.

100% failure rate w/ ddm

10% for vvme. but they did say they will replace the ballasts, after i would ship them to china

* it's easier to buy their replacement kit for 39.99 kit to get 2 extra ballasts, 2 extra bulbs than to buy one ballasts for 16.99

also i will have 3 kits of hids on my car (and i don't have projectors
