and plus theres no need for high kelvins in a projector. 5000k is white so when you run white light thru a prism you get rainbow colors, but the ground still lights up white and bright lol.

i wouldnt go over 5000k in any housing but thats just me


halogen projectors wont outdo projectors designed for hids. cts and older audis are exceptions because the halogen valeos units they use are the same as the xenon units.

as far as color they do turn bluer with time. and if you pull the shield back you can get more color out of the projector. and match the fogs with the same 5000k. you'll gain foreground light then


and ballast are ballast, the bulbs are the difference. only quality bulbs are phillips and osram. alll kits are made in the same build house just different casing and stickers on the ballast. kits bulbs dont have the same amount of salts in them and the uv coating are not the same as oem bulbs.

i have a kit so im not bashing kits. but i do only put 85122 phillips in my projectors or osram 66240, but my fogs i use kits because i got tired of cutting up oem bulbs and fabbing them in each car.

I'd put the money towards a CAI rather than getting the fogs. A CAI will really wake up your car with the Superchips tuner.

I said they were all mostly the same, the best HID kit is the cheapest one with the longest warranty. That ballast with the hour meter is pretty cool, I never saw one like that!
