Hey all, I'm new here. But I bought my G8 Sedan (I know...no V8, But I got it at a GREAT price for it being brand new, And it has every feature as a GT minus the motor, gearbox, and diff) a few weeks ago. Anywho, The dealership that I got the car from in Utah also had sort of an in house custom accessories shop. And when I got the car they offered to customize the stock rims a little bit for free. So i said sure...And here is what they did to em'. Alot of people tell me that they look good on my G8, tell me what yall think...

(And im in Yuma, AZ. Thats why there is so much flatness and dryness)

Those rims on my car are just the standard 18 inchers.
I think those rims would look great on a number of cars. My friend has an 07 GP, and one day i was at his place and i took one of those wheels off my car and we put it up next to his car and it looked nice!
Also found out that those OEM rims were manufactured my Enkei. If you look at the back of the rim, there is a foundry stamp from Enkei on each of them.

It's amazing what some black paint can do for some wheels. I didn't realize those were the stock 18's from the V6 until Patrick posted that pic!

Any G8 with the stock rims that palsut posted a picture of are Enkei rims. They just dont say it on the front. You have to look on the back of one of the spokes. They were made by Enkei for GM. Mine are the same rim, except part of the rim was painted black

He is right. It is really stock wheel for base G8. I have seen that wheel on base model in my nearly Pontiac dealership. I believe that wheel is only for V6 model . I never seen that wheel on G8 GT yet. I don't think it is option for GT unless "build it your own".

They were painted. They were just the original 18 inch stock rims for the sedan (as that is what mine is) ill try to get a picture of it, but on the inside of the rim you can see where they over sprayed the black powder coating. Plus, this custom shop did a good job, However, They arent THAT good to machine an entire set of rims.



You can kinda see what im talkin about over spray. That very inside portion where it goes from black to normal rim. But, they were definitely painted...The guy that did it at the shop said it wouldn't be that expensive to do it either...

I think Mayben and Don Rome's stock wheels are good looking. If I own G8 then I won't replace them. I think it is bad ass wheel. Hmm wonder if it is fit 97-03 model?
