So forthe last (long) while, I've had a bit of a problem...my car, when first starting doesnt want to run full headlights and the heater at the same time. Its worse in cold/wet weather. When first starting the ambers and fogs will come on. However if I switch the headlights to manual full-on, and the blower motor to full, about 5 mins down the road the heater will work. BUT at this time if I turn the lights to auto, and the blower motor down everything but my ambers will go out again. And I have to start the whole proccess over...now if I wait about 20 minutes of driving, then I can get everything to work properly. Also I an usually get everything to work if I try restarting the car a few times. There is no corrosion on any wiring in the engine bay, so its not a battery connection problem. Me and my mechanic have both figured its the ignition switch, but I wouldnt mind another opinion. Thoughts?

It sounds like the typical bad ignition switch problem; if you don't want to buy one you could always take the old one apart and clean up the contacts.

I'm going to my mechanics today to see what the damage will be to fix the ignition...I also gotta go up north to my stepdads shop to replace my drivers side rocker panel...its alot in gas, but at 500 parts and gas, its certainly cheaper then paying a body guy 1g to fix it. I can do the work myself, I just dont have a garage to work in lol.
