I was lookin to upgrade my taillight bulb since they went out i wanted to get these http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Switchback-315 ... _sku39.htm i have a 2001 grand prix and i was wondering if these would fit through the whole where the socket goes which is the 3057 bulb and if i use the signal left and right will they work ? their are more on the site maybe if u guys can let me know which one will even fit would be great thanks !!

Just ebay them. Much cheaper. But yes those ones should work. Spider single color bulbs would be an even better option though if you really want to light up the night or at least a 68 smd or 102 smd tower bulb.

As for hyperflash on the turn signals, what the load resistor does is it draws more power (it actually just sends a certain amount of current to the ground and bypasses the bulb) so the flasher relay thinks that the bulb is a regular halogen since LED's draw less current than halogens thus creating the "bulb out" hyperflash. I'm not sure on these cars but you might actually be able to just change the flasher relay which would eliminate the hyperflash. Not positive on this though.

As for the PCM whatever, don't worry about it. The reverse lights don't flash anyway.

when it is in revers it does not matter what bulb is in there

i did not use load resisters i used the LED flasher i find it much easer to use. also the resisters defeat the purpose of switching to LEDs or at least one reason they use less power a resister makes them use the same power as a incondecant bulb

and a switch back will not work for the tail lights as they are red housings you will not see a color change

oh true that what bulb would be the clear side one in the taillight? and will these bulbs that i am lookin at fit the lamp its self ?

yes they will fit

for the clear side the revers lights get a "white" LED bulb

for the tails get a RED LED bulb

But yeah, as Tom said, switch back dual color ones won't work so you need a spider single color one like ^^^. Or just get some towers and call it a day.

I actually just put some smd towers in my tails last week. So much brighter than regular leds.

i acutally wanna get the clear part of the tail white and the main light red and then the side is a 194 i got the Main light Bulb Number i was wonder what the Clear area Bulb number is and if their is any links to those

i used just Ebay 3057 dual cuircate towers for the turns and 3056 single cuircate towers for the revers lights
