So i found out i had a leak in my pipe but it was just drops when i take a look at my resovier where the coolant goes its orange cause its mixed with green and red stuff .... i only had like 5 cms of coolant in it ....basically i wanna flush my rad and redo the coolant cause i see dex poo... how should i clean...what coolant do i need... any one kno the diameter of the pipe ? Pipe goes to resiovr to the main raditor thing or w.e ... thanks guys /gurls ... one more thing do i need a cleaner and .. is their a write up of how to do it idk where to start and finish.

i just open the drain start the car and fill it with hose water and keep it full untill the water coming out of the drain is clear. then let it drain out.

i use the NON-premix and fill it up testing the coolants ability to protect with the test strips out can get from autozone. getting premix will be to deluted do to the water you used to clean it out

KK so do u have a coolant name or brand i should use to do this ? .. just wonder which one is good .. i was also thinking of adding those royal purple ice coolant mix or w.e to keep it cool from running so HOT !

i just use green coolant ethalyne glycal is ethalyne glycal. get 2 gallans just to be safe the system has a 2 gallon capacity so i gallon coolant i gallon water but may need add more coolant depending on what the stips say the temp you are good for

the A/C is not connected in any way to the cooling system of the car if the A/C get's f**ked up it is an unrelated issue

put it in the rad not the over flow. the rad is the filler neck

lol alri so i take out old... put the hose in the rads ass flush it until its clean... start the car while the hose in in their spraying away with heat on blast... once that is done ...clean the resivor.. put new coolant in resivoir and rad ... good to go ?

yup try not to have the car running for more then 10 minutes at a time. as the coolant is not able to actualy transfer heat well the engine could over heat

Alri cool my plan was just to spray the hell out the rad when i take it all out and run the engine while the hose is still in the rad for like 5-6 mins and then just clean up and put back togeather

i always do 3/4 coolant and 1/4 water because if it gets low you'll just add water over time. so thats my theory

ye i think ima just go reg i herd dex messes up some gasket or something and it eats away .........i think ill just got half and half then if the fluch is 6 quarts then ill go 3 quart water 3 quart coolant and w.e i need to fill after just fill it with coolant

when dex and coolant mixes it forms what essentially is a giant blood clot that hardens like there is no tomorrow and fucks up your entire system

If i get that will i still have to go 50/50 with coolant and water or do i just flush and fill her up with that ^ prestone ..... If i get green stuff then ill have to put 50% water and 50% coolant or ............40% water and 60% coolant ........... With that do i just fill it up ? ......... i still need to find the pipe to the reviour cause its leaking like shit now sinice iv been moving it around ........... can i also use radiator leak stop ? just to stay on the safe side i got some?

never use radiator stop leak it just clogs up the heater core and rad and never actualy stops the leak

Any one notice the hose is wet and so is the one underneath the fatter one .... the leak is were that rust clamp is

just buy a section oh hose the same langth and diameter as that one. any autopart store should have it

Some guy told me to go with premix at autozone because their will be dex still in the system and hes like if u mix green reg and dex it becomes slimmy ..... im pretty sure it already is slimmer lol so i got premix and gunna flush it tommorw and lets see how it goes and Looks
