You won't need to sand the rotors down. Just tape it off and have at it. I tape them off at where the pad touches the surface, but leave the side (vents) untaped so they can hold up rust free a little longer.
Just a wire brush wheel should do the trick for the calipers, especially if you're leaving them on the car.

Post pics when it's all done!!

i cheat and dont tape off, when you do the break in you'll burn up any paint contacting. usually don't have a problem w/ nice ceramic pads

You won't need primer jus clean caliper well (steel wire brush helps) and spray away. Light coats at first and let it dry then finish off with more light coats until your satisfied. Brake fluid also helps removing paint if your needing it ;p and post pics when your done.

Looks good. In the top pic, the uppermost rotor and bottom right rotor look like they are drivers side and the middle left and middle right look like passenger side. Technically it doesn't really make a difference but for looks it better to have the pattern in the "forward swooping" direction

when done be sure that your first couple of stops are slow and you have plenty of room. till the paint gets off there.

other wise lookin good.. makes me want to go get busy on mine and get everything all painted up.

did not do the back. i just sanded them down so the paint would stick decent, and sprayed them.. i will see if i can find the small write up it did for my other wheels..

ok i thought i did a better write up on them then this, but i guess not.. i will have to do it when i redo these then.. (gonna paint the white 17's black) and yes the t-stars that are all different colors are the ones i painted all black. the hard one to do was the silver one because it was a "hammered" look paint, and i had to sand most of it off ot get it fairly smooth again.. i will do a quick write when i paint the 17's black. but here is my other thread till then .
