Hi, my turn signals quit on my 2000 Grand Prix, of course dealer wants 850 to replace and fix. I"m wondering if I could get a couple at the junk yard, pull them off and have two in case it goes out again, but I suppose no guarentee they are good either.

Anyway, has anyone done this job and have advice? Does steering wheel and airbags need to come off or not? I can do it safely if so, but I'd rather not obviously. any tips to look out for? I'd appreciate it, I'll start the job in my garage for the holiday tomorrow.

if i was you i would go to a yard and pull apart a stearing colum, and try to take it off. its worth a try cuz if you phuck it up who cares lol

yes, for sure it's worth a try. i don't know how hard they are to pull but i might get two just in case one is bad like mine is

It can take a little doing but I have taken them off with the wheel still on.
