ClubGP called, they want their drama back.

Go to a group of new friends and say "hey can you help me change out my LIM on my car? I won't hang out with you much after that but I figured since you're MY FRIENDS and all..." See how far you get.

Blackwood does sigs for his FRIENDS. Not for half the damn forum. And the fact that you joined just to get a sig says pretty loudly that you aren't looking to make friends.

Lesson learned, Jeff, imo.

For starters, a decent signature does not take 20 or 30 minutes. It can take up to a few days to get it to where we are happy with it.

Second, you don't come into a place you don't plan to frequent and say you want a signature, you will not get one. Your first mistake was saying that it takes no time, your second was saying you don't plan to linger here long, and third was ignorance for thinking it doesn't take time or skill to make a signature. W will not spend time on a signature that you don't intend to use where you asked for it. It's like asking to be a GM (GameMaster) on a game that you never intend to come back to.

Now, lets all stop beating a dead horse, GPONA, and let it go.

Yes, it rubs me the wrong way when the impression of the OP was "Oh, signatures take no time, skill, etc." It's like my Manager who said "You can't pay me enough to do your job." Might as well have spit on us.

We enjoy what we do because we enjoy the feedback (don't mistake us for arrogant) but please re-think your way of asking questions next time.

Club GP doesn't want him either. He posted the same thing over there and they jumped his ass. What gets me is that the only person that came to his defense was his good friend that supposedly made the sig that he used as an example. I want to know why he doesn't just have his friend make one for him?

BTW, I want to thank everyone here for understanding my point of view on this matter. Nothing worse than someone wanting something for free but at the same time acting like it's below him to do such a thing himself because it's sooooo easy to do and not worth HIS time. This attitude was furture exemplified when he felt the need to throw in that he is studing to be a surgeon, thus proving in his mind that he is superior.

GPONA is always behind those that make sense. If someone did this in real life and said they wanted something to use and walk away with, people would shit on them and walk away. Not worth the time if it is not appreciated correctly or respected. Sure, some sigs are easy to make, but good sigs are not and can take a lot of work and time. Blackwood, for example, your sig is amazing because you spent the time on it and made it your own way. Simply amazing. Keep on being the peace maker like you are. No respect given = no respect given back.

I saw his thread on ClubGP and offered to make him one, but after reading this I won't bother wasting my time. I love how you go from saying they're easy to make, to you not knowing how because you're only 21 and you haven't had the tools or time to learn. Yerrr funny..

Also, hit that enter key once in a while when you write stories. There's a better chance of people actually reading them that way. Grammar and spelling helps too.

I was actually closer to you than usual. I was eating Louisiana shrimp, but I was about an hour south of St. Louis. You should run over from Ohio.

I just wanna say that I had no idea he was using Kevin and I in this thread guys. Sorry. I didn't know he was gonna do something like that. And as for my sig, that was a long time ago... Jeremy I heard now makes people pay him for sigs.

Getting one made here for you shouldn't be a problem. As far as I know, you've treated others with respect. Jeff's mistake was that he was basically talking down to the same people he was asking free work from. He attacked me for calling him on it, but I was speaking for all of us that do sigs here. We put a lot of thought and time into our work and to have him come along and incinuate that the work we do is simple and not worth his time to do himself, was insulting.

When I first clicked on his thread, I had every intention of making a sig for him if he had put in the time. However, when I read his response to those that gave him simple instruction and advice, I was really insulted. And with each post he made, he only dug the hole he was in deeper with the rest of the members of the forum.

Ok I just had to jump to the end to leave a comment...

Op: firstly, in the off topics section there is a thread for sig requests... And Kendra or kristin often help people out when they have the time, if they ask nicely (they have helped many of us here including me). <---- I'm not volunteering them, I'm just saying.

As for myself I stopped asking bc my car was changing so much that the images never stayed current for long so i started doing my own in microsoft paint...

(thank you Kendra for your efforts in the past)

But when you ask us to find you someone to spend "only" an hour to build you a nice sig when you don't plan on contributing much is presumptuous and epic fail.

There are tons of awesome people here, you just rubbed a few of them the wrong way.

Spend the time, be a positive contributor, know the appropriate sections, read and research, and you won't have a hard time here.

But laziness never goes far...

Oh and I see black woods point totally... ;)

Alright, group hug, High fives, and let's move on.

Ps I'm surprised Kyle hasn't chimed in he lives for this sh!t. Lmao
