I won this item:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0257514968

I know how to get the big trim piece off. But, I'm not sure how to get the lower half off.

Any tips?

Thanks!

I just happened upon it by accident yesterday (early) at work and I figured I best get it while it was pretty cheap and still available!

Sorry! :D

And thanks for the advise about removal. I figured that it was that simple but sometimes ya never know.

Good find. I actually I saw that but I rather my dashboard paint as silver than buy that. I went Morad's place yesterday to get 2000 Daytona trunklid with spoiler. I believe this one is from Daytona too I think.

Correct....

But he can work on it at his OWN pace and still drive around if he has a second set!! It's always nice to have a second set anything....

Maybe he can sell the original set when he's done with the custom work he's doing!!!

Personally, I do not like the looks of a painted interior. Granted, I could find a satin paint and probably get close to the same results, but I really like the way the set I purchased looks.

And yes, I realize I could have done this much cheaper as well! lol. But, I've been looking for this set for a long time. I'm happy, thats all I care!

i agree for that set you probably did get a great set. but how could you not like the look of a painted and primed dash. if done right the glossy glass look is unbeatable. even if you do a flat color the smooth affect is still better then the rocky rough stock appearance

but if your happy man thats cool more power to ya just my .02 worth

I guess I got a bad taste in my mouth from a few GP's that used to run around town that had painted dashes. I'm sure they didn't prep and take the time that I know I could/would have and they looked like CRAP. Not to mention they never painted them nice colors.

I put it in the car today and I'm VERY happy with the results. I'll post pics once I get some time to clean the rest of the interior up. (stupid azz rain!)
