is it legal to not have a front license plate in NY?

dont live there but everybody that lives there and post pics has one. I'm sure if they had a choice they wouldnt have one on the front.

My guess is yes, it's illegal to not have a front plate in NY. There are several NY people here that will chime in I'm sure.

In Ny state you HAVE to have BOTH plates in a readable area.

You CANNOT have them in the windshield, Rear window, Or not on the car.

even if it is i would never screw a frot plate on my car it looks hideous. 9/10 cops wont pull you over for

but there are those dickhead cops that will. ive never used one. and its required in Illinois. and the only time i got busted was in my WS-6 when he pulled me over for doing 0-60 to fast.(obviously jealous because he cant keep up)

Yes it is, I dunno where you live in NY but Greece cops are all over any sort of thing they can ticket you for. I gave mine to my brother to put on his car. I dont need anymore tickets.
