I did a post about a month ago about some hood hinges. I couldnt find any so I went to the junk yard and I found out why the hood thats on my car now wont work with struts....

Attachment:

....these brackets.

The hood only cost me $100 and it came with the hinges and the struts as you can see. it came off a 97 se. I actually bought it about 3 weeks ago. Im just now getting around to posting it to the site.

The hood is green and has a little bit of rust. I want to just take those brackets off and put them on my current hood since its already painted. the brackets seem to be held on with just 4 spot welds. a drill should do the trick and that way I dont have to spend the money to have this hood painted to match the rest of my car.
