The Grand Prix is gone :(

I don't like pity parties so I'll keep it short and as emotionally free as I can lol.

The guy is going to take care of it though... he assured me of it. He's got a Tacoma and a Daily Driver. He said the GP is only going to be driven twice a week and he's looking forward to getting back into the swing of detailing... so at least it did go to someone who gave a dang. It still hurts

I told him about it, plus it's got the GPONA sticker on it still... So I'm hoping he'll come around. I said that the GP community is pretty level headed and are easy to get around and get to know.

As for the Dodge it was a graduation/birthday, it'd be cruel to just give it up after it was given to me. Plus I enjoy it, I'm just bummed the GP had go to... but I'll get another one :)

I'm thinking of paying the truck off soon as I can and get another GP to mess with :D

hmmm if it was gift but you still have good looking gp. I don't see what reason why they buy you a truck if you still have gp? If it is from your jerk friend then end relationship then sell it. If it is from your mom/dad then never speak them then sell it. Just kidding. Good luck find other gp. It will be hard to find good looking gp. There are lot of bad shape gp on used dealership at my home area. :(

haha I'm surprised you remembered the guy lol! But no, it's from the parents and family up in Ohio.

There was a story behind the Dakota, which is why they bought me it. And it's a little too long to explain the whole thing, but it's not like they bought it just 'cause. One thing that Dakota will help with is the horse stuff. NOTHING horse went in my car. 8 years later it still smelled new and I loved it :D I've already put a round bale in the back of my truck so it's pulling it's weight finally.

It is hard to find a nice GP I will admit. We got EXTREMELY lucky with the GP because it was in immaculate condition when we bought it 76k mi for $8.5k and considering it was a rental... it was in great shape. The only flaw was ignorance from the renter as they drug their suitcases against the bumper and gashed it up (got fixed later though) They power washed the engine to where it looked brand new and it stayed this way to this day.

I understand. My mom and dad brought me a summer car for me.

They ask me pick any cars. I got this car from hentz rental place.

There are two silver Pontiac Grand Prix.

1. SE sedan with cloth seat and no sunroof
2. GT coupe with leather seat and sunroof

I know you will kill me for choose SE over GT. Because I hate leather seat (90 sunny + my ass on fire) and sunroof leaking. Oh, I hate if I have friend sit backseat so I have to get out and in for back and forth.

Oh I hear ya on the leather. My GT had it, freezing in the winter (heated seats ftw) but dang was it hot in the summer. Yeah, coupes are a pain when you have friends!

One thing that was nice about the leather was 'back seat sliding!' as my friends called it. They'd get in the back and I'd turn tight and they'd go sliding across the back seat, talk about entertainment!

Averages 16-18 city (I don't hotrod it)
Averages 20-21-ish highway.

Yeah. I drove by his place today (it's on the way to Central Park) and he'd already taken it out . I'm hoping he'll come around.

I cannot stand 97-03 GP cloth...I loathe it. 04+ isn't bad, but I'd take leather any day. Just get a sun shade and you're set. Doors are easier on a sedan though, I definitely prefer that, and when I reverse I hold on to the back of the passenger head rest when looking backwards, and in coupes the seat pushes forward when I do that...goodness I'm picky.

Kendra, we call "back seat sliding"
"getting high- on G's!" (as in G forces, get it everyone? aha)

That was a nice looking Prix.
On the leather/cloth debate. Both my vehicles have leather, I wish the Commander was cloth because in the winter, it's HORRIBLE, the Prix the summer is HORRIBLE w/ the black leather. Both have heated seats though. and I get super nervous when people have knives in my car. Leather is nice though, and GP seats are super compfy!

Someday you can get another Prix Kendra. Your dream prix! GT again GTP, GXP, SE (special edition, or even base) we'll always support you. :D

My freshmen year college roommate had a leaky sunroof on his Lincoln LHS and man did that smell after it rained, he was pissed.

I like rental car because no smoking. They took lighter out and put "no smoking" on it. I like that. It will tell my friend "do not smoke on my car!"

I have a feeling a smoker owned my car before me, however I don't think he smoked in the car or if he did always had the windows down.. So it doesn't bother me too much. I won't let anyone smoke in my car, either. Either car, actually. I freaked at a guy who was in the Commander who was gonna smoke.
