My 01 GT and my gf's dad's 01 GT gas pedals stuck, but didn't take a lot of pressure to unstick them. Mine eventually stopped sticking, his still does sometimes. Just that first push on the pedal that it gets stuck.

Why yes, they love GPs. My aunt has a 99 SE i think that's the year. My dad has an 07 Base. Now my gf has the 00 GTP. Then there is her dad, and I'm on my second. My first GP was my dad's until he got his 07 and my GA was about to fall apart on me.

What can I say? GPs are the s***

Why would they hate yours? You don't treat it like garbage/

Hmm...well I'm pretty sure my gf and I would be the only once who would be saddened by this news. The rest of them aren't that passionate about GPs

Could the squeak in the steering be a leaky gasket of some sort? And once it warms up the gasket expands?

That seems awful easy...almost too easy...I say tear down the entire steering system and rebuild it! :D

I'm just kidding by the way.

Check the power steering fluid level and make sure the belt is tight. If that's ok then the power steering pump might need to be replaced.

Throttle body probably needs to be cleaned to fix the gas pedal issue.
