So this spring, I've been noticing a funky smell out of my vents. It's almost like cow shit smelling. Mostly get it when it's wet outside, or dampness in the air. I also get it when I turn the heat or a/c on, it comes out of the vents.
Is this my cabin filter that needs changing, or is it something else? Any ideas?

Ok so after doing some digging, my car doesn't come with a cabin filter. So now I am stumped at what could be causing this smell. And just to let you know, I live in a large city not on a farm, so there is no way any shit could have gotten inside the engine bay.

Check the A/C drain on the firewall, make sure it's not plugged. Also, see Document ID: 513032 (Odor Correction) in the GM Service Manual link at the top of the site for more info.

FYI, if you want you can add a cabin filter to your car. Go to an Autozone or Oreilly's and pick one up for an 04 GP and it'll go right in.
