Ok...so I got my new digital DIC to splice in today. My buddy and I were doing it, it was going all smooth...until I turn the car on. Now...I know we didn't pull anything out of harnesses, but the only light that came into the dic was the traction control saying it was off, that was the only one that worked. I have absolutely NO idea how the hell do splice into the data wire or vss, or b + constant. Could somebody PLEASE help me. Oh and for some strange coincedence...my instrument cluster is going nuts!! my RPM needle is above 7000! I don't know how fast I'm going! and the gas gauge is all f**ked up. Sometimes the needles move when I dim and undim the lights! HELP ME PLEASE!! SOMEONE!!

I don't need another link to a write up for the god knows how many times! I need help! That's all I'm asking for. This is REALLY getting rediculous. I thought it was supposed to go smooth and easy! I did what everything in the write up said, I didn't even touch my b+, stereo one, or data cable and my radio doesnt work, nor does anything on the DIC nor does my gas gauge, tach, and speedo. WHAT THE kcuf IS GOING ON! THIS IS REALLY GETTING UNDER MY SKIN!!!

what year is your car and what year is the dic?

97's only work in 97 cars
98's only work in 98 cars
99 - 02's work in 98 - 02's
03's was a bastard year like the 97's so i'd say 03 in an 03

Did you disconnect the battery before swapping the dic? If not then maybe it blew a fuse.

The year of the car is a 2000 I got it out of. My car is a 2002. It's from a gtp going in a gt. I know that the light of the "tcs off" button will be on when tcs is on but I want it that vise versa switch. How exactly do I tap into the data wire and radio orange one? I have found them behind my radio but the wires aren't long enough to go all the way down from the dic to there. Please, I am stuck on this thing and I'm almost there, I can feel it, I just wish somebody was here so you can see what I mean... X( :( How do I get the wires from the dic that need the b+, and data cable into them! The write ups do great telling me what goes where, but not that!! :(

What zero said, if the wires aren't long enough to reach you can buy a roll of primary wire from the auto parts store, and use it to extend the wire harness. The fuse box is located behind your glove box. There's a "stash box" to the right of the glove box. Just pop it out, and you'll see the fuse box:
