My HVAC door actuator stopped working. For those of you who don't know it the selector for where you want your airflow from wether it would be the floor, face, or windshield so you guys know what I am talking about. I need to replace it and im wanting to know if its something I can do in a couple hours or is it a weekend project or something I should take to my mechanic? This car is really starting to aggravate me.

It could be something as simple as a vacuum line broken.
Document ID: 862867 and Document ID: 772554 (can't figure out from the pictures what the heck either thing is haha) in the manual ^^^^^ might be worth looking at as well for the replacement procedure. Never personally done it so I have no idea how easy/hard it is.

Sounds like the VACUUM line is broke. If this is the case, check the engine compartment between the fuse box and the battery. The bundle of wires along the frame just below the fuse box contain the vacuum linr that controls the upper and lower air directional control selinoid. This is a hard plastic line that runs from the PS firewall, under the battery area ans arcross the front of the car to the DS fender well to a round plastc ball looking thing. This tube normaly brakes where it crosses between the battery and the fuse box.

If it's the blend door actuator that needs change and not what was posted by Blackarrow98gp, this can be done at home in less than three hours for both sides.

The PS is the easiest to get to, remove the glove box and it should be to the left on the HVAC ducting, there is three screws holding it in place.
The DS is done the same way, opposite of the center console, just above the accelerator assembly. This one is a PITA and you'll need an extension and a swivel joint to get to it.

PS takes about 15 minutes
DS takes about 2 1/2 hrs

How do you remove the panels that need to be removed? Also what is the best way to find a crack in the vacuum hose?

Thanks
