so i have a set of YT 1.84's and a set of ER's on the way (don't ask, long story).. still not sure what set i'm going to install.. probably the er's.. that aside, what can i set my shifts at? to take full advantage of rockers, you want to set em as high as possible, but at a safe point.. right now i'm shifting at 6K but the full shift doesn't happen til maybe 6200 in first gear.. shifts right at 6 in all other gears (stock ZZP bin).. can i raise my shifts any higher to take advantage of the new rockers? should i just leave them as is?

with my 1.9's im shifting at like 5800. we dont make power that high up without headwork and/or a cam

I plan to put my 105# springs in and retainers and shift around 6100ish maybe

I believe he does not have springs.

If i recall you dont need springs with 1.84 or even ER's
only if your in the 1.9 range you can run stock but they recommend springs...maybe im wrong

BUT if he wants to raise his shift points he would need springs yes!

does that help

but teh gas goes way way down when i run that BIG BLOCK V8 that high
