well i just finished clay-baring the car and detailing the dirty ass rims lol(will post pics later) and i wanted to tackle some of the problems with the car
1. how can i remove front dash cluster to get to the ac and radio to figure out whats wrong with them and not breaking the plastic piece?
2. i found a coolant leak on an elbow on the LIM...is this normal for these cars and has to be replaced or is this leak coming from somewhere else?
3. there is a lot of oil (i think) coming out of one of the heads well not a lot but its just there...is this because of the recall? the people we got it from gave us all the recall papers and said they never took it to the stealership for it
4. the sunroof slides kinda rough..what kind of grease should i use?
5. e-brake is not functioning all
6. abs light is on 0_o (traction control is always stays on)

remove the knee bolter under the steering colom it then pops off

elbow has deteriated both need to be replaced. att his time you should also replace the LIM witht the metal one

could be they only replace the front valve cover gasket and leave the rear alone if the front is leaking the rear is as well

i use white lithiam grease i also clean out the track with wd-40 first to get the dirt out

don't mess witht eh ebrake if it doesn't work the cable eath is 1) snapped or 2) seased up

so the ABS light is on but the traction still works and will not turn off? that s odd the ABS and traction are connected becuase the computer uses the ABS pump to aply the brakes to slow wheel spin

Ok I took off the dash and unplugged and plugged everhthing back in and I got the ac to work but only on 5 lol everything else dosent do anything ....where is the module or what ever is keeping the radio and ac to work properly

And the LIM looks like its metal ....

Also I was gonna redo all the gaskets just to make sure but wanted to figure out if that's for the recall ?

the LIM is aluminum but the gasket is plastic

the blower motor resiter is bad needs a new on it's under the passenger side of the dash on the blower motor pita to do

no idea where it si located

Blower motor resistor SUCKS. Trust me. Took me two hours... THere's a bolt you can't get entirely out. Don't even try. Just get it partially out and slide the old resistor out, new one in.

well im doing that one later :) radio issue was blown amp fuse lol....im going to replace all the upper gaskets...any advice on the easiest way to do it ....theres alot more cables,hoses,shit than a series 3 lol

only advices i have is remove old shit put on new shit lol

it's not bad there is only i more fule line that is it the cables are just run diffrently
