at that power level the chain is no longer the weak point of the 4t65 it's the clutches

should be fun though for a wile any way lol

Awesome, yes please post his mod list. More curious about the engine than the trans. :)

he did alot more to the trans than just the chain but i dont know what all it was, and i will try and get him to send me a full mod list sometime soon, saw it run against my buddys fully built and forged lt1 camaro tonight and once he got traction he walked him very easily and hes only at 13lbs right now

i am sure the trans is fully built but there is only so much the 4t65 can take. it is a vary weak tans and he is pushing it way over what it was ever rated at. even fully built it is just the nature of the beast

but agian car sounds like fun will probalby get a couple years out of it

Probably, but once you taste power like that it gets to your head. I rode in a WRX and knew I had to have a car that launched that fast. now look at what I've gotten myself into haha.

true. why do you think i am building a turbo 4 for the lebaron lol

those old turbo K-cars where fast under rated cars especialy the intercooled ones 175hp and 240 Ft-lbs in a car that weighs under 3,000. it's crazy easy to get thme into the 12's and 11's

some guy came into Advance today and got a fuel filter for a 92 Lebaron 2.5 n/a. He told me like 8 times that it wasn't the turbo. I made sure he knew I heard him but he just kept telling me.

they never had a 2.5 N/A in '92 only engine options for the lebaron was the 3.0 v6 N/A, 2.5 turbo non-intercooled, 3.3 v6 (sedan only)

they made the engine but it was only in the daytona and caravans

and the engine is a moot point every single engine combo on a K-car uses the same fuel filter part number lol

maybe it was a 91 or something then? I had a 2.5t and 2.5n/a listed in the parts catalog.

but it does for the A-body (Lebaron/ dynasty sedan)
