Since i put in the Pacesetters.....im getting a P1133 (HO2S Insufficient Switching) on the upper O2 sensor. My buddy had it hooked up to his powertuner, and driving around the O2 sensor seemed to be operating normally. He delieted the code for now, so i dont have to look at the SES light. What would this code meen if the sensor is still working??

Is there an exhaust leak? Did you maybe fray a cable or something? If not, replace the sensor

I just had this problem for about 2yrs replaced o2 after o2 some years have a test mode if it see the fuel trims out it dumps extra fuel it thinks the car is lean also my car would surge at idle on some WOT runs I would get KR and other times none it was hit and miss PRJ Performance figured out the problem and flashed my 2001 PCM as a 1998 PCM since he has done that no more light no more surging car is running great A/F is 11.9- 12.1 at WOT

The Y is leaking....that probably has something to do w/ it.

Yeah....im in the process of taking the Y back off and cleaning all the RTV out of it and putting the RTV on the outside of the Crossover and back header to put it back on and then tighten the clamps down....then put a new AC Delco O2 sensor in there and have my buddy turn off the code in a few days to see if it still comes up. (the sensor in there now has just a hare over 100K on it, so its time for it to be replaced anyways)

I think i may have found the problem why i set that 1133.......i took off the DP. and looked up into the Y...and i saw a trail of melted Copper RTV i used leading down to the O2 sensor.....i pulled the O2 out a few days ago and looked at it and it looked fine....but after taking the DP out tonite i looked in there and saw that....so im pretty sure i'll be fine once i put the new sensor in there, cause all the RTV has been burned off.
