power wise, you're gonna see the gen V is much more efficient... ex: a gen V with a 3.6 pulley will make the same power (maybe a lil more) as a Gen III with a 3.4..

Another thing from what I'm to understand is the coating on the rotors is better on the Gen 5 vs. the Gen 3

BTW what happened to the Gen 4?

We shall never know.

But if you want REAL S/C, Get the Eaton TVS. Oh yes!

If you do a little searching on ClubGP you will find a thread where somebody posts some pics of a supercharger that was possibly a gen 4 prototype. It look like the design was right in the middle of the gen 3 and 5 and had some different coding on it or something.

Actually, if you look at Eaton's site, they don't even mention a Gen V...just a Gen 4.

I thought a TVS blower would all but bolt up? Yeah, I was lookin' at something the other day on there, and they were talkin' about the Gen 4 blower.

I messed up. The first time I saw it, I thought it was Eaton's site. This is where it came from: http://www.capa.com.au/eaton_mp90_4th.htm

Joe, that's my bad. I posted that link then changed it. Damn, these things take a LOT of power to run at WOT. Why not just turbo with an equal amount of boost??? There's 40-60HP right there. Same boost levels and everything too...????
