Provided crap video.. used my camera phone to capture it so it looks like junk (not like you need it to hear) and sound isn't great because it didn't capture like any of the sound till the last 8 seconds or so. I have a FWI so I know what the supercharger sounds like.. but the whine inside the cabin is MUCH louder.. started after I took a turn then floored it so the people on the road going 50 wouldn't have to brake. The inside of my car sounds like a jet engine.. much louder than it was before (with the FWI) and you can hear it when it's idling so..

Ok.. so both videos are not loud AT ALL.. so you may need headphones or to crank up your speakers. Pay attention between 14 - 19 second marker, that's when the high pitch whine is most defined.. Really, any help on this is very appreciated.

I could barely hear anything from that video even when my speakers were on full blast.

Hrm.. sound alright to me, but I don't use speakers I use headphones.. lol. Anyway.. it sounds like a mini jet engine that gets louder as RPM's get higher. When in the car it sounds like it comes from behind the dash on the passenger side (I'm guessing whatever it is, it's under the hood). I've opened the hood with the car running twice now.. can't hear it from outside. Yesterday along with my headlight cleanup, I did use this guide viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3097 so I'm thinking it is probably something to do with this. I drove with it last night and today (until it started making the noise) without the noise. I used a 39in 4 gauge wire with connectors already on it. Don't have the time right now to remove it and see if it changes anything, any input?

Might be a air leak, my buddy's dad was telling me about stories like this..where you'll hear that (wind noise coming thru) and then it will go away and come back off and on..

Not sure what else it could be.

What car do you have?

Went out to wash my car today, pulled out of the bay, dried it.. got inside turned the key to -on-, all the neat little chimes started dinging and all the other startup stuff. Right before I turned the key to start 'er up.. lost all power. Switched the "alternator wiring" back to normal (followed the guide in the DIY 3 days ago). Had someone come up to try jumping the car.. battery was completely dead. Tried to let it get a small charge and jumping it for about 20 minutes, just gave up cause the car kept turning over once and lost all power.. reset settings etc. Bought a new battery dropped that sucker in, started right up.

Also noted.. after reversing the DIY guide.. I no longer hear the mini jet engine sound. Coming up tomorrow.. checking the problem I had with the key getting stuck in the ignition. I saw in the manual that a low charged battery or a dead one can hold the key in the ignition, so I may take out my toothpick rig holding the button under the steering column and see if I can remove the key after turn it on then off.

So what exactly was the problem? Your saying it was the battery?

Either the battery or something didn't like the DIY 4 gauge wire guide...

Used this viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3097 ended up reversing it while putting in the new battery.

It sounds more like a whistling noise than a whine.
