My winter beater 97 GT has decided to start weeping fuel from a very rusty section of the tank directly under the strap.
I was wondering if it's possible to swap it out and install a plastic tank from an 01 that I have at my disposal?
Anyone done this? Just wondering if it's possible and what kind of work is involved as I recall something about the 97 tank/filler neck being a one year(97) only thing?

should wok just swap over the fuel canister as well as they do not swap. but the fuel lines and wiring should be the same

the plastic tanks pump actualy would eb a an upgrade
