Hey sorry this may sounds stupid but I am trying to install the 99 coolant bottle into my 98 and having problems. It seems like there is not enough room due to the fuse box. How does this work? any pics of people who have done it or do you need to move the fuse box? Thanks

Make sure the bottom of the overflow bottle is secure as well, so the belt doesn't cut into it or the hose.

there is a white knob that you need off the donor car.

personally i prefer the 97 bottle since it's more hidden, and it will work w/ a fwi w/o needing it to be removed

I drilled holes and use 1/4" push rivets to hold it on --- makes it waaay easy to pop out when needed.

as others have mentioned you need to secure the bottom of it

I agree it gives a bit cleaner look. But due to my go fast antics I switched styles so I had better air flow with headlight removed.

And like the others mentioned you will want to be sure the bottom is good and secure so it don't kick out and rub on the pullys.

StreetShaker installed a nice polished stainless one in his '98 a few years ago: Long time, New Mod!
If I ever had to relocate the overflow bottle, I'd get one of these..

definatly like this...may have to look for one. I actually found the white plastic clip in my trunk forgot that I had pulled it when I got the coolant bottle from the junkyard.

97/98 is much cleaner, but I had to remove mine cause the air filter got in the way. :(

I'll be getting a different one to mount out of the engine bay as well.
