do i have a bad 02 sensor? it shuts off after the car warms up and if its warmed up and i turn it on it idles a bit rough then normal again

No CEL or any pending codes?
Those symptoms sound more like MAF or fuel pump

what year car? the 97-99 2 speed pumps had a resister that would burn out and not allow it to run int he low speed (for idle and cruise) you can bend a tab on the pump soeed relay to get you buy untill you replace the resister. it's not good to have the pump constantly running in high speed as it could burn up

00+ do not have a 2 speed pump and share the same pump between the GTP and GT

Definitely not the O2 sensor. That would not cause the car to shut off. Idle issues sounds like a MAF. BTDT. Not fun when it happens at a stoplight. Could be the fuel pump like Tom mentioned though.

fuel pump voltage drop possibly. Check your fuel pressure.
