Cat. Converters from dealership would run around $500 and then add on labor. You can check the local parts stores or delete the cat and run a straight pipe instead but that depends on if you have emission test or not. Might even be able to get a aftermarket universal cat like magnaflow.

When the cat clogged on my '98 I installed a Magnaflow 23405 direct fit converter (aka bolt-in downpipe) from Performance Peddler, but you can buy them on Ebay as well: Magnaflow 23405

You have to supply gaskets, bolts, and elbow grease.. ;-)

x2. Just get a catted DP from some place like the link posted or ZZP... if you dare  . Much cheaper than an OEM cat and you could even get a 3" DP if you wanted to so you could have a slight exhaust upgrade in the process.

Like other guys suggested replace with magnaflow cat it's around what $100 vs. $500 ac delco. Only reason I went to dealer is GM warranties there cats to either 70-75k! and cost me $0 :)

Here's another option for you: AllFlow Catalytic Converter 2.5" or AllFlow Catalytic Converter 3"
