Well my buddys 98 GTP he was on his way to my bro's place and got 2 miles away and the car died! So they looked under the hood and the battery ground wire was melted to the battery!! So they firgured the battery was SHOT! so they put a good used battery in it and SAME result. So he called me i told them to put a battery charger on the positive side and ground it to the sturt brace or something and see if its back feeding through the motor to the ground. ANY other ideas?

Did someone put a smaller gauge wire in? What kind of electrical mods are on the car...........Get a new higher gauge ground wire
