so today after cleaning my car for hours battery has died and sinice i might be getting a new one now do i have to do anything before i replace it would i have to redo my anti theft or anything ? just making sure !

should just be an easy swap. iirc the pcm resets it's "learns" after 5 mins tho

When I changed the battery a long time ago what I did was start the car and let it run while I changed it. This way my radio did not go into Theft-Lock. If your car is already dead you maybe screwed.

umm ya. i've had my radio out of this gtp about 20 times. have put 3 stock radio's from different years in this thing and have never had the security code pop up

i have 4 stock radios that have been in and out if diffrent cars never had an issue i even have a radio from a Grand AM
