Alright guys Ive been doing some research and haven't really seen anyone having the problem im having with my a/c. When i turn my A/c on my car will idle up 3 times and the clutch will engage once. Blows out cold are all day long. But the whole sound of the motor changes like its being forced to spin the compressor. When i put a gauge on it. It buries the gauge and isn't cycling the clutch. So my question any idea where i should start. I was thinking high pressure cut off.

Sounds kinda normal. The compressor will pull the engine down. The only thing that I can think of is that if the compressor is aging, or the system doesn't have the right amount of oil in it, you may have trouble. Are there any rattles or anything like that? SO long as it's still pushing cold air...that doesn't sound to abnormal to me.

The clutch isnt cycling.. That isnt normal when you put gauges on it. It will burry the guage. Its not cycling the system and theres way to much strain on the engine for it to be normal.

a/c is something vary few will be able to diagnose over the internet. heck i am certifide in A/C and i realy have no idea with out the car in front of me so i can hear it my self and watch the cluch and the manifold guages both high and low side

by the sounds of it you only have a low side guage. i wuold put the guage on another car to varifiy it is working correctly other then that this is something you should probably have a shop look at

but my only guess is that it sounds like there is there is a clog in the system after the low side port but with out the high side pressue to confirm or deniy this i am noy even 30% sure

I used manifold gauges at the shop i work at. The system is building way to much pressure and the clutch isn't cycling. I thought when the ac clutch cycled it would relieve pressure. My ac clutch cycles when you turn it on and off. Never in between it running.

I unplugged the high pressure cut off and its seems to be better doesn't idle up as bad and doesn't seem like the car is fighting to run the ac. But the ac clutch isn't cycling still. I haven't put a gauge on it yet to see what the pressures are i will tonight and see what i come up with.
