changed the oil today and when filling oil i noticed that the left (pasenger side) MOTOR MOUNT BRACKET was snapped off at the block. just the right side upper mount is working. what would cause this. lower mount bad? or hard torque at take off? not to sure. any ideas? thanks in advance

would it be safe to drive like this? not sure how long its been broke. i know it wasnt broke a month ago when i changed the plugs

The reason that broke is due to the bottom nut that connects it to the head came loose. I believe it is $80 from the dealer but if you can get to a local junk yard it was $10 when I picked one up for my buddy. When you do get the new one replace the bottom nut with a nylon nut. Tighten it down good and the heat will seal it on nicely.

not sure you are talking about the same bracket. this one connect to the block by 2 bolts comes to the front and the upper dog bone mounts to it. not real sure what you are talking about when you say bottom one.

it brakes. there is no rime or reason for it. had a froned that had a brand new one break right after install.

he switched to a GTP coil/engine mount and just left off the extra pulleis

Yeah and there is a nut the mounts to the front of the head by the exhaust manifold.
