To do it right...everythign from the heads up. Plus the harmonic balancer, and all the belt stuff. Plus, you'll need the PCM, injectors, wiring, and all that fun stuff.

LS4 swap can be done, but there are less options to mod and you would need engine, trans, all wiring harnesses, etc

If you're looking for speed, efficiency, and a good cost to power ratio, turbo is the way to go IMO.

IMHO since your 17..and I'm guessing you make less than $260/week. Just stick to bolt on stuff for now...Exhaust, intake, HV3, minor appearance stuff and performance to prep the car for the turbo once you get a bigger salary or just save up the money.

I waited 4 years before going turbo. Just added things that would go with a turbo in the long run. I.E. No headers, but went with Plog.

^true.. I sort of regret getting header sometimes, but since I got them I may has well get a bad @ss GT times before getting the turbo. The 3500 stall I plan to get for my car is going to launch the living hell out of my car :)

It's a simple install.. with power tools. I how ever did it the hard way. There are plenty of write ups on the internet on this. Advanced auto parts has a nice video on it.

If you're planning on the go fast route you might want to look into something a little more light weight, but they would look good.

These are torque stars. They weigh without a tire about 16 pounds. I can pull a 1.9x 60fts on a very crappy Kelly Navigator Gold tires.

As far as Top Swap just make sure you look at the bigger picture. What is your total goal with the car. Make sure you only buy things that will help you to that goal. Don't buy things that you will have to take off or replace in order to get to your goal. This is what I have done and it has saved me a lot of money and not redoing things.
