Alright here's my dilemna. I want to build GTP eating GT grand prix and keep it naturally aspirated. I don't want it to be like a purely track/racing car, but i want it more than just the little cold air intake and exhaust type thing. But, I don't really know where to start. I don't have a lot of money to dump into it, and it'll definately be a couple year project, but what are some good ideas as far as Cam, heads, etc? Any help is much appreciated!

I am not sure what type of cam or heads to recommend you but If you are looking for some nice gains you can look into the following:

Intake
Exhaust
ER Rockers
HV3
HV TB
PCM

GT1 Cam w/ 105's
Intake
Stage 1 TB
HV3
Headers or Plog/Ported Rear/3" downpipe
Tuner

That there should get you low 14's

If your up to it...
Port your UIM
Port and Polish LIM and heads.

Doing that, you could break into 13's.

Youd be happier with a GT2 cam.

I walk stock GTPs all day in my GT with just intake/exhaust work and a tune.

i'm sure i'd be a ton faster if i could get a custom tune.. problem is there's no one around here that can do it.. that's one HUGE problem that's holding me back right now..

You could port, polish and mill your heads, slap on a thinner headgasket. That will bump up the compression. With a cam you could have a pretty mean all motor gp.

Thanks for all the help guys. One question about exhaust, I've seen one mention a 3" dp and one mention 2.5". If I put on the 3" will I loose my low end torque or will the cam etc. do enough that it won't matter anymore?

You will lose some bottom end with the 3". But, with the right mods and stuff, it won't be a big deal, and COULD aid in launching the car.

You will not lose any low end with a cam and all. You do not even lose low end stock with a 3" downpipe.

Mill your heads .030", raises compression to 9.9:1
Abbott Racing Heads NA cam 210/220 .512"/.512" 112 LSA
Headers (I prefer S&S because of the 2.5" DP, but TOG's would be good)
3500 stall TC and/or 3.69 gears
Stage 1 TB
HV3
Full dyno tune

IMO, it's ALOT of money and time just to be able say your N/A....

with the amount of money you'd put into it to keep it n/a you'd only run mid-high 13's.

Slap a blower or turbo on their with that same amount of money and you're looking at high 11's low 12's.

To each their own though.
