Ok dont tell me to use search button right away cause i have. and I still cant quite figure out am i better off going to a junkyard and buying an engine out of a GTP or GT that has supercharger and getting some one to install it or can i just order a blower unit and have some one else install it all for me.

Its your call, but to supercharge the engine engine you have now, you need a new lower intake manifold and new heads as well as the blower. You can get them from the junkyard if you like, but the pistons you have now will give you higher compression which can be dangerous with too much boost. Also a lot of people recommend replacing or upgrading the transmission to handle the extra power.

This all sounds complicated wouldnt it make more sence to buy the tranny and engine out of a wrecked one and just have it mounted in mine? would i need the headers and all out of it or what.

If you are already planning on buying the motor and tranny out of another car, just swap them both in... It wouldn't make sense to buy both just to do a top swap...

It's better for the supercharger to have lower compression cuz it can only make so much boost unlike a turbo. More HP per PSI, but the tune need to be good cuz of knock

I want to be supercharged, but i dont want to get rid of my current GP cause im kinda connected to it, and im just not sure how best to go about doing this. as near as i can tell from u guys im best off going to a junkyard and buying the engine and exaust and tranny out of a GT or GTP and finding some one to install it all. am i right and where would i go to get the electronics tuned for the Supercharged engine.

I think it would be easiest, if you got the engine, tranny, fully exhaust parts, computer, and wiring harness out of the junk yard. That way there's no need to get electronics tuned, when you have the stock computer for the GTP engine.

If you do get a SC motor from the yard, I personally would change all of the gaskets from the heads up (LIM gasket, SC gasket, VC gaskets) before putting it into the car... they are prone to failing anyway, and if the motor is out of the car, it makes it that much easier. Along with plugs and such.

Edit in my last post.

Take your computer. Unplug. Take new computer. Plug into new wiring harness (I think you need the GTP wiring harness for the GTP motor)

It should just cost whatever parts is. If you can turn a wrench, and read a book.. you can do all the labor yourself.

I recommend getting the engine, trans, and headers (not full exhaust) from the junkyard. The GTP computer may have pins moved around, and some stuff may not work. The cars in the junkyard are there for a reason, you do not want to put the used computer in, start it, and have something break or the air bag go off (which is what I worry about with that option). With the exhaust, if you get a full exhaust, it costs more for one, and also it may be rusted. The main thing is that if you get the exhaust from a 2 door, it may be shorter if you have a 4 door, or vice versa. Just my opinion.

They did not make a 2 door option in the 04+ cars. So exhaust will be the same size.
