Thank You very much for your display of maturity. We really appreciate it when we can keep drama outta here!

Anyways, personally, if you have $1500 to spend on mods, I'd stick with a 3" because you are probably going to go with stuff like the HV3 or cam that are going to add HP. You don't want to go too small and then realize you need a bigger DP because of how much you modded.

I had a 2.5" on mine and can easily tell a difference compared to stock. I could feel a loss in low-end but not enough for me to care. If I've heard of supercharged guys feeling a loss in low-end with a 3", you know N/A is gonna have a loss too.

but 3" on a s/c the loss is compromised for when you have the less restricted flow and produce a better mid to high end

Yeah, because I have headers back to a 3" exhaust and I have no loss at all.

I emailed ZZP to get a good answer. And trust these guys. They are right on the target. Everyone here at GPONA helps so much, and they know so much. This is what I got from Turbo Tim @ ZZP.

I first told him I had an Intake, and the front PLOG

He wrote
[quote="Turbo Tim @ ZZP"]
If your car is a GT, then I would recommend:

GT1 cam (+25whp) or ER rockers (+10whp)

High velocity throttlebody (+5hp)

Underdrive water pump pulley (+4hp)

HV3 insert (+25hp)

Powerlog (+5hp)

Ported rear manifold (+5hp)

ZZP Bolt in 2.5

I went throug te above list as far as cost and total hp gains cam install kit $99.99 gt1 cam $314.99 high velocity throttle body $179.99 underdrive water pump pully $69.99 hv3 insert $199.99 power log and ported rear manifold $119.99 zzp bolt in 2.5 down pipe $89.99 total price $1179.94, total hp gain 84, not bad considering the amount of bang for the buck :smile: im looking into this for my 97 GT, if I can aford it. Plus it will give me something to do during the winter :smile:
