I was looking on ZZP's website...came across these powdered metal connecting rods...

http://zzperformance.com/grand_prix/pro ... &catid=109

do ALL 04+ GP's have these, or just the GTP/CompG/GXP?

it says that the 04+ GP's have this, but I heard that they actually didn't put them in the GP's until 2005. Anybody have any additional / solid info?

According to Wiki the stronger rods came in the 05+ and were supposed to come in the 04's but didn't due to production demands not being able to be met. However, the stronger rods did come on the 04+ L32's just not the L26's for that year.

Haha, that I don't know about. I know I've read that same info before on other places but I can't seem to find them. I'll keep looking though.

I don't think Wiki is right.. My 2004 L32 says SERIES II right on the block. I think they used up their old stock that year..

Why do you want them? Many people take L26-L36 blocks pretty far, and usually it isn't a broken connecting rod that takes them out.

ZZP got 776 whp out of there TTGT when it was running a stock gt bottom end. Not sure how long that lasted though.
