Just saw this post over on ZZP's Facebook page. Looks like we've got some new 4340 connecting rods coming.

They are claiming they are a whopping 20% lighter than the powder metal rods. I don't know how many people would make it a point to replace the rods just to cut the weight, but for anybody doing a complete build these look pretty sweet.

the powered rods are not even better then the casted rods from the older engines

i do not see a need for the H-beam rods

I really dont see why they would continue with engine mods when the biggest problem is that there is no reliable tranny chain like the GMR 1"- they should really deal with that problem.

might be geared tward the v6 F-body crowed but they tend to be more cheap the the w-body market
